Template price is not included and will vary depending on your chosen template, they often range from around £150 to £460 / $200 to $600.
Brand Design - if you don’t have a brand designed either the original template styles can be used or you can add my Mini Branding service.
Significant structure/design changes beyond what the template offers, you can add extra pages as an add-on service or create them yourself after the project.
Text Content - You will provide your text content including text for any legal pages such as Privacy Policy and / or Terms pages.
Image Content - For best results you’ll provide professional photos and /or stock imagery to replace the template images. Stock image sourcing can be included as an add-on service if required.
Domain and Squarespace subscription fees (approximately £230/$300 per year).
Other Third Party Costs - Additional font, image or third party licenses/costs beyond those provided by the template, if wanted you will purchase these prior to the start date.
Set up of any third party applications that may link or be embedded on your website (you will provide links or embedded code, e.g. for Calendly.)

Investment: 2.5 Design Days (£2000) - (Squarespace template not included)
You make a 50% payment to book your project in my design calendar.
One week before the two week website build starts you make the second 50% payment.

The free Squarespace templates are great and cater for everyone, but you’re not everyone are you? They're also quite generic and designed more to be a starting point to be amended and developed to meet your own needs so normally need work to evolve them into a more bespoke design and layout.

It's a fantastic option for a less expensive done-for-you web design service that uses a strategically custom-designed website template to design you a gorgeous new website.
With this service, you’ll get the individual attention of an expert Squarespace designer who will transform the site to match your brand in as little as two weeks.

A least 2 weeks before the project start date, you'll provide your imagery and text content and your brand colours, fonts and logo if you have them, more details below...
COLOURS & FONTS - We'll have the option to customise the colours and fonts in your chosen template to reflect your brand style. You can provide a brand guide detailing your colour palette and typography either prepared by yourself or a graphic designer, or add the Mini-brand service to your project and I'll prepare it for you or we can retain the fonts and colours of the template.
TEXT CONTENT - You'll provide the text copy for your website, many premium templates come with text content guidelines to help with this. If you’d like additional help with this, at the beginning of our project I can point you in the right direction resources I highly recommend.
IMAGERY - The number of images needed will depend on your chosen template and the pages I'll be customising for you. Generally speaking you'll need 1-2 headshots and around 12-14 additional images as a minimum for around 5 pages, the more professional brand images to choose from the better though.
Quality images are a key element to the success of your website and I heartily advise a professional brand photoshoot that includes different poses, locations and outfit changes. To get the best results if using stock imagery ensure they are cohesive with your brand style and colours and if you'd like help selecting stock imagery you can add image curation as an extra service, please enquire for further details.
LOGO - If you have a logo, you'll need to provide it in transparent .png format, if you don't have a logo I can create a simple wordmark logo using Squarespace installed fonts. You can also add my Mini Brand service which includes colours and font selection if you don't have a 5 colour palette or professionally designed brand already.

Your template will most likely come with a 6-month free trial of Squarespace and so you won't need to sign up to a Squarespace subscription plan until your website is ready to launch or the free trial period ends. You'll be eligible for a 20% discount on your first year of the annual subscription, this will be the Squarespace Business Plan (or higher).
You'll need a domain name, which if you don't already have one can be arranged through Squarespace or other provider. Any further additional add-ons may require separate purchases, such as email, email marketing, scheduling through Acuity Scheduling etc.

Yes of course, you'll be able to review your new site and submit a list of tweaks / changes. After the build your website will be all yours, you'll have full access to make any adjustments you wish to yourself or you can hire me for a half-day or full day or hire any other designer.
